Hello viewers and welcome back to blog. The current state of our groups project is decent. We have finished our event and we were able to bring the clothes to the Community Hope Center. Right now our group is trying to focus on working on a reflection worksheet to help us take in what we thought we did well with the project and to see how we could have improved. With that completed we will start working on our big final project were we have to make a presentation and present it live to a group of people. It will contain our opinions on how we could have improved our project and what we thought went well, but also providing details with what we did. This can be one of the hardest parts of the project, because you will have to go out of your comfort zone and present it live. Overall I have been really proud of our group, but I think there were some areas were we could have improved. For example, we could of done a better job with advertising our event to get more teams to come. Thanks for stopping by and I will get back to you with how our project has been going.

Hello, welcome back to the blog! Today I am going to be recapping our event that we hosted. For our event we had 2 full teams and half of a team show up. This was a success in our eyes, being able to even host an event in the first place. We got a decent amount of clothes and we are going to be delivering them very soon to the community hope center. Since we did not have enough teams to actually host a tournament, we treated it as a gym night. We played some dodge ball games and constantly mixed up the teams. Then we played some alterations of dodge ball like 3 step. After that we played some kickball and basketball. Throughout the event there was space to take breaks or to just relax. I was able to provide free drinks and food for everyone there. All in all I thought it was a success, because we were able to get people to provide for their community and to notice to reach out for the people in need. Which is was our number one goal as a group. We hope that they will continue to provide for their community. Thanks for checking in and I will keep you updated next time.
Hello viewers, welcome back to blog. Today, I am going to talk about the rest of the things we need to do and how we are going to do it. Our most recent task has been to make flyers. So far we have made the flyers and we are planning to email our principal and asks them to hang them around the school. There is also a TV in the school commons with slides of things going on in our school. We are planning to make a slide and have it be in the rotation of the TV. Another task we have completed is that we have got the dodge balls for the tournament. The finalized date for the event is going to be on February 9th, which is coming up very fast. We just confirmed that one of my partners Matthew will be talking about the dodge ball tournament over the announcements in a couple of days. We are also planning to make T-Shirts and put a random design on it for the winners. That is all for today, thanks for stopping by. I will be planning to keep you updated for some of the upcoming ideas we will have,
Hi, welcome back to the blog. Today I am going to talk about our projects past, present and future. In our past we started with the idea of having a dodge ball and to be sponsored with the Salvation Army. A thing we had to change was our sponsor. Since the Salvation Army wasn't able to reach out to us so we got hooked up with the Community Hope Center. My role was to get the location for the event and which I did. Right now for our present day jobs we are working on making flyers and spreading the news for our event, which is happening in a little less than a month. For our future my goal at the end of the day is to have a good presentation, with a successful event, my goal for our event is to have a decent amount of teams there and a pile of clothes for the Community Hope Center. My role for the rest of the project is to just make sure everything runs smoothly, and to try my best to provide something that my group may need. Thanks for stopping by, that is all for this post I will see you all next time.
Hello, welcome back to the blog. Today we called The Salvation Army and it went pretty well, they thought the idea was cool and they would get back to us as soon as possible. Our next task for the entire group is to get the equipment for the event, like the food or dodge balls, also another idea we had was to buy marshmallows and play dodge ball with them instead. Depending on what we can from Salvation Army will shape out everything else we will need. Another thing we are going to start and work on is to spread the word of our tournament to our friends and start to make flyers to try and get some attraction from the event. Also, something else we are planning to do is to try and attract interest by making a Facebook account shouting out our event, with that we can make a post and see how many people are interested and who wants to come. The Facebook account would also help us with making the brackets for the tournament. That is all for this week, I will keep you updated for next week, especially with what The Salvation Army gets back to us.
Welcome back to the blog, for this post I am going to be talking about our groups plans for the future. In the coming of weeks our goal is to continue to finalize details about the location and equipment that are needed. Another goal of ours is to finish flyers by the end of the month and hand them out. Since my dad owns a church with a gym, my goal is to try and get an opening for free on a Saturday between January and February, as of right now my dad agreed to let us use the gym, and we are soon to finalize a date. Another task I have been assigned is to find concessions or just provide food. Luckily, at my church their is a kitchen connected to the gym, with a perfect spot to hold the concessions. The only obstacle with that is that we are either going to have to buy some food, or find a sponsor to provide food and to represent themselves. Next, we are going to go and contact The Salvation Army and asks if they could sponsor us with an incentive for the winners like T-Shirts for an example. That is all for now and I will continue to update you later.Hi, I am Parker and welcome to my blog. For our 20 time project we are hosting a dodge ball tournament. A hobby that we all have is that we like to play sports. So we decided to host a tournament with other people that like to play sports. As a group we choose every person to have a specific role. My role for the project is to find the facility and make the reservation, provide concessions, and to finalize a date and time. Since my dad is a Pastor at a local church, we are going to use the churches gym for the event and it will be free. As a group we decided that a good time to host the event was around January on a Saturday afternoon. Some of our ideas to spread the word is to invite friends that we know are very competitive in sports. Another idea is to hang flyers around the school and community, spreading the word is going to be one of the main tasks, because to host a tournament you are going to need a decent amount of participants. One of our goals is to spread the word enough so that we have two brackets one for younger kids and the other for high school students and up to any age adults. We don't want a bunch of big kids obliterating smaller children. Thanks for checking in to my blog I will keep you updated with more information for event next week.
